This knitted lambswool Elephant cushion features an elephant wearing an Indian patterned saddle cloth. I was inspired by similar elephant images from the picture card games of my childhood in the 1970’s.
I like to add a small motif on the back of my cushions and this one features an Indian flower design.
I’ve enjoyed working on this design and carried it across into a 3 dimensional Elephant in the Animal section and also as a repeat pattern for cotton blankets.
Designed and made in my studio in Norfolk using double thickness 100% lambswool yarn for a more substantial, softer feel, it has a green zip fastening and is stuffed with a duck feather cushion pad. Can be used as a cushion or pillow on your favourite chair, or to decorate a bed.
